CM stands for Chief Minister and Common
Man; the term Common Man popularized by
the renowned cartoonist RK Laxman. Mr. Siddaramaiah, the Chief Minster
of Karnataka, is in the news for wrong reasons. The MUDA controversy for which
the Governer had already provided sanction for investigation was challenged in
the High Court. The court has mentioned there is no reason to stop the
investigation against the CM. A double whammy for Mr. Siddaramaiah.
The Deputy Chief Minster of Karnataka, Mr. DK Shivakumar, had given a 15 day deadline to cover all the potholes on Bangalore roads. The deadline has passed, the potholes continue to remain. The CM (common man) continues to use these potholes ridden roads, with no solution in sight.
In the sketch, I have tried to represent what hits the common man daily, and the legal impediment that the chief minister has hit.
