Sketch 1 is an urge to the society to start looking at the problem as a mindset issue and to set it right by respecting fellow humans.
A society cannot be termed healthy one if women are subjected to rape and assault. And the cure for it does not lie in drawing guard rails around women physically, mentally, or moral policing, nor does harsh punishment, of even death, a strong enough deterrent from atrocities against women. The health can be improved only when women are seen as equal. Sketch 2 depicts it. I have a reason to choose tea sharing as a symbol – for it is not normal to share a cup of tea with a woman, instead it is a norm for women to serve tea to men.
Gloria Steinem, American Journalist & Social-political Activist, once said, “Don’t think about making women fit the world - think about making the world fit women.” A society that provides for freedom to choose, freedom to achieve, freedom to pursue one’s passion, freedom from fear, and freedom to dream, is a society worth dying for. Sketch 3 showcases this aspirational aspect for women and in a hope that we, “Don’t make women fit the world, but make the world fit for women.”
